Salary effective July 1, 2014
Examples of Work:
Monitors the safety and security of YRTC-G youth during the overnight hours. Responds to crisis situations and de-escalates youth as needed. Distributes medications as prescribed and administers first aid and CPR as required.
Qualifications / Requirements:
REQUIREMENTS: Coursework/training in: social work, criminal justice, counseling and guidance, human development and the family, psychology, mental health care, education, social/behavioral sciences, human services, or related area; OR Experience in child care or youth care, teaching, foster care, delinquency prevention, juvenile court systems, community work related to children and youth, behavioral health systems, patient care, nursing or other areas involving contact or interaction with youth or familiesEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
